Joan Wiese

Joan C. Wiese (nee Sutter), 80, of Cary passed away April 20, 2015 just a few short months after her beloved husband. She was born January 30, 1935 to Joseph and Frieda (nee Zessin) Sutter in Chicago.

On November 3, 1956 she married Ronald Wiese. They lived in Chicago and raised their two children, Jill (Keith) Hicks and Mark (Kristina) before moving to Cary in 1996. He preceded her in death on January 10th of this year.

Joan enjoyed reading and going to the casino. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, and Kara.

Besides her children and grandchildren, Joan is survived by her sister, Arlene (Jim) Humphrey; sister-in-law, Pat (Ron) Neukirch; brother-in-law, Jack (Carole) Wiese; and several nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visitation will start at 3pm until the time of funeral service at 7pm on Thursday, April 23rd, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rte 176), Crystal Lake.

There will be a chapel service at Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 W Irving Park Rd, Norridge, at 11:30am on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Volo Bog, 28478 W Brandenburg Rd., Ingleside, IL 60041.
