Joann Muffoletto

Joann was born November 4, 1962 in Chicago.  She passed away suddenly March 3, 2019 at her home.

Joann began a business “Biscotti by Joann” doing what she loved, cooking and baking.  She was a funny, beautiful, and kind hearted woman that lit up every room she walked in.  Family was most important to Joann and she cherished family gatherings and cooking meals for everybody.

Joann is survived by her children; Nichole (John) Silmon, Anthony J. Muffoletto, and Michael Muffoletto; grandson, Wesley Silmon; mother, Caterina Bonura; brother, Jo Bonura; sister Sandra (Terry) Fields; cousin, who was like a sister, Maryann Conigliaro; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and extended family in Italy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Muffoletto; and her father Joseph Bonura.

Memorial visitation will be 11am until 7pm Saturday, March 9th.  The memorial service will begin at 5pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL.
