John Antonucci was born on September 11,1942 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on October 10, 2021 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He was the beloved husband to Holly (nee Wreath) for 56 year and father to two daughters, Jill White and Louise Maki. He had 8 wonderful grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He has 2 surviving sisters, Jane and Susan and felt blessed to have a wonderful relationship with his son-in-law, Jeff Maki and grandson, Peter (Andrea) White and family.
He loved being a Chicago Policeman, playing football for a semi-pro team, dancing, and had owned several businesses. His youngest grandson, Travis, taught him to love hockey and John would have loved to see him in the future on an NHL team.
Also known as Big John, he always put his family first, instilling work ethics, faith and values with his generous spirit and mischievous sense of humor.
John was a US Army veteran and served his country honorably in Korea. He was a long-time member of St. Francis de Sales parish in Lake Zurich with 11 years as ministry of care.
He was a good man who worked hard to support his wife and family. He brought so much happiness to them and his many friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
