John C. Berghorn, 70, of Barrington, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, WI.
He was born September 2, 1947 in Elgin to the late Harry and Irma Berghorn.
John was a 1965 graduate of Barrington High School. He was a driver/salesman for Lake-Cook Farm Supply and later started his own company, MJ Petroleum Inc. which he ran from 1990 to 2012.
John is survived by his children, Michael Berghorn and Jessica (Kerry) Williams; and was Poppy to his grandchildren, Kody and Brianna Williams, and Grace Berghorn.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 28, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.) Barrington. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
