John Thomas Dalton, Sr.

John Thomas Dalton, Sr., of Crystal Lake, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at the age of 82.

He was born March 15, 1938 in Chicago, the son of the late Edward and Ruth Dalton.

John was the loving father of Donna Dalton, the late John Dalton, Jr., and the late Robert Dalton; cherished grandpa of Michael and Sydney Dalton; great-grandfather of Emmett Dalton; loving brother of Dona Nicklas; and fond uncle of Robert Vercruysse, the late Ronald Vercruysse, Timothy Vercruysse and Shannon Stowasser.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.
