John Ekizian

John Ekizian, age 88, of North Barrington passed away suddenly on Saturday November 13, 2021.

John was a big personality to all that knew him. He was a loyal son with a strong work ethic. He served his country honorably during the Korean War as a medic in Army. After graduating from college, he began a long and successful career in the printing industry where be owned and operated Pride In Graphics for over 40 years. He loved the friendships formed with business associates, many of which lasted long past his retirement. He was never without his trademark cigar in hand and funny story to share.

He enjoyed watching sports on TV and following all his favorite Chicago teams. Playing golf with friends was his favorite activity resulting in countless stories and good times.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Ekizian of 62 years; loving children, Sharon (Chris) Clifford, Barrington, Michael Ekizian, Niles, and Laura Ekizian, Davenport, Iowa; and cherished grandchildren, Megan Clifford, Molly Clifford, Abbey Ekizian, and Keenan Ekizian.

Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Ekizian and his sister, Margaret Enkowitz

Services were held privately.
