John Hirth

John S. Hirth, 85 of Barrington
Born April 26, 1928 in Chicago to John and Marie (nee Wagner) Hirth, passed away May 28, 2013 in Barrington.
John was an avid golfer, he enjoyed woodworking, sailing, playing his accordion, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was Past Grand Knight, and Minister of Care at St. Anne Catholic Church in Barrington. John served four years in the United States Army, stationed in Austria.
John is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dee Hirth, children; Jacqueline (Steve) Leupold, and Conrad Hirth, step children; Elizabeth (Gregory) Bienkowski, Teresa Fiore, John (Tracy) Fiore, Richard (Vivian) Fiore, and Steve (Angela) Fiore, grandchildren; Anne and Nathan Leupold, Conner and Rachel Hirth, and Danielle, Hannah, Jason, and Lucian Fiore. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Eleanor, and step son Francis Fiore.
Visitation will be 9am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10am Friday, May 31 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts) Barrington, IL. Entombment in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine, IL.
