John H. Claiborne IV
Born July 7, 1973 in Arlington Heights, Illinois, to Harriet and John H. Claiborne III, he passed away January 27, 2015 in Rantoul, Illinois.
John is survived by his dear friend Tasha Kazek, son Noah Kazek, mother Harriet Claiborne, sister Elizabeth (Liz) Burbage and her husband, David, nephews Claiborne “Clay”, and Brady Burbage, his niece and goddaughter, Lacy Burbage, and his aunt, Susan Witt. He was preceded in death by his father.
Known for his good natured sense of humor, compassionate heart and passion for cars and airplanes, The Blackhawks and Cubs, John grew up in Barrington, Illinois. He attended both Barrington High School and St. Andrews in Sewanee, Tennessee, and graduated From Indiana University with a double major in English and in Business in 1997. He built a rewarding and stellar career in the retirement industry working both with ADP and Voya, winning several sales awards. He will be sorely missed by ALL who knew him!
Visitation will be held 2-5 pm Sunday, February 8 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave, Barrington. The funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, February 9 at the church. Interment will be private.
