Barrington, Illinois,The Mass of Christian Burial for John C. Kluk, 85, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (at the corner of Franklin St.), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Father Tom Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles. There will also be visitation from 3-8 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2010, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Born July 20 1924, in Chicago, he passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, at Alden Estates of Barrington. Mr. Kluk was a resident of Barrington since 1965, and an avid horse owner. He was a very successful business owner over the years. Survivors include his wife, Mildred (nee Minor); son, Robert (Stephanie) Kluk of Inverness; grandson, Matthew Kluk of Inverness; sister-in-law, Sophie Kluk of Chicago; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Julia (nee Pazdur) Kluk; and brother, Stanley Kluk. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Kluk?s name may be made to the charity of one?s choice.
