Lake in the Hills, Illinois,Funeral services for John McBane Luhmann, 34, will be held at 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2010, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private. Born January 29, 1976, in Arlington Heights, he died suddenly, Thursday, April 29, 2010, in Lake in the Hills. Survivors include his parents, Peggy and Tom Denz of Lake in the Hills and Paul John Luhmann; brothers, Paul (Kayan) and David (Jennifer) Luhmann; stepbrothers, Kirk (Cindy) and Brad (Melissa) Denz; and nephews, Jason and David. He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Ann Luhmann. Memorials in John?s name may be made to the charity of one?s choice. 2010 in Elgin. She was born January 24, 1920 to the late Ivan Maize and Fern Augusta (Estes) Porter in Owanka, South Dakota. Betty was proud that she had seven children, twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She loved canning, playing cards and putting in a hard days work. She is survived by her husband, Junior Lee Fulmer, of 56 years; Mary Lou (Alfred) Nowakowski, John Ivan (Linda) Petersen, Bruce Bernard Fulmer, Coleen Elizabeth Personius, Patricia Lorraine (David) Morris, twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Rae Petersen and a son, Robert Alan Johnson.
