John Morrissey

Born September 29, 1934 in Chicago to Emmet and Marion (nee Groener) Morrissey, John passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Libertyville at the age of 80.

John was a loving husband to the late Maureen C. (nee Donaghy), loving father to John F. (Wendyl) Morrissey Jr., Marion C. Lucero, and Melissa A. (Larry) Rebodos; cherished grandfather of Steven, Logan, Reece, and Tegan; devoted brother to Sr. Kathleen “Joanne” Morrissey, Marion (the late Jack) Franke, Delores (Jack) Connelly, Gerald Morrissey, William Morrissey, the late Francis Morrissey, Thomas Morrissey, Dennis Morrissey, the late James Morrissey, Elaine (Leonard) Pameditis, and Patricia Calahan; and fond brother-in-law to Camille Steede.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington, IL 60010.
A brief visitation will be held the following day, Monday, January 12, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington.
