Jonathan “Jak” Allen Kallas, 12, of Barrington, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Park Ridge. He was born June 3, 2004, in McHenry, to Kevin and Joy (nee Lutz) Kallas.
Jak was in the 7th grade at Station Middle School in Barrington. He played FCX Soccer and was very active in the Village Church youth group. Jak loved the Lord and lived life to the fullest.
Besides his parents, Jak will be greatly missed by his younger sisters, Rebekah and Amelia; paternal grandparents, Tim (Marye) Kallas; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Clara Lutz; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Caryn Kallas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, from 3 PM until 8 PM at the Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Jak’s funeral service will be Thursday, January 19, at 2 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
