Joseph T. Liszek

Joseph T. Liszek, 90, of Lake in the Hills, passed away November 15, 2018.

Joe was a veteran and served in the Army in U.S. occupied Italy after the close of World War II.

Joseph retired from International Harvester as a price analyst.  He also drove the Pace bus in McHenry County for many years.

His greatest pride and joy was his family and they are the mark he left on this earth.  He will be dearly missed by his seven children, John, Robert, Mary Jo, Angela, Ruth, Jean and Joe, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Vivian.   They are together again in heaven probably sitting on a beach casting a net for shrimp.

A visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 1 PM until 4 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake.  Visitation will continue Monday, November 19, at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of a service at 10 AM.  A burial will follow with Military Honors at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
