Joseph Szucs

Joseph Szucs, 69, long-time resident of Algonquin, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in The Villages, Florida.
Born on June 2, 1943 in Waukegan, he was the son of the late Steve and Florence Szucs.
Joseph was a school teacher who taught in England and Germany and retired from his profession after teaching at the Bernotas Middle School in Crystal Lake. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, and dining. Most of all, he enjoyed the company of his family and wonderful friends.
His survivors include his sister, Sandra Larsen and brother-in-law, Wayne; his niece, Tracy Kamai and her husband, Farryl and step-son, Darrien; his nephew, Chris Larsen, his wife, Angela and their daughters, Trinity and Julianna; and many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial service will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, June 23 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, preceded by an hour of visitation beginning at 9:30am. Rev. Dr. Arn Schaper will officiate.
