Joshua Michael Antongiovanni, 21, of Crystal Lake passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 7, 2021. He was born on November 23, 1999 in Elk Grove Village, IL to Michael and Julie (nee Ford) Antongiovanni.
Joshua was a junior at Milwaukee School of Engineering studying construction management following his graduation from Crystal Lake Central High School in 2018. He was a member of the band, cross country, and track team during his high school career and continued running in college. He was an active member of the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist where he served mass and ushered. Joshua was proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus Chapter 3880. He loved riding and working on his motorcycle, spending time with friends and family (especially in a hammock), evangelizing his faith, and dedicating his time to those in need, especially in Milwaukee.
In addition to his loving parents, Josh will be deeply missed by his sisters, Sarah, Emma, and Mahri Antongiovanni; his grandparents Eugene and Lois Antongiovanni; his Godparents, Stephen Antongiovanni (uncle) and Jennifer Boys (aunt); his uncle Brian and Colleen Ford and their children Mikayla and Keegan. Along with the rest of the Antongiovanni and Ford families, and countless other family members, friends, and individuals who hold him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Dolores (nee Felicicchia) Ford.
Visitation will be Sunday July 18, from 2 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Mass of Christian burial will be held July 19, at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
