Judith Blanche Hayes

Judith Blanche Hayes, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

Judith was born in Brooklyn, Iowa on December 28, 1943 and raised in Chicago. She was a 1961 graduate of Austin High School. Judith loved camping and fishing. She was a super fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago White Sox. She was an avid photographer, reader, gardener, lover of children, faithful friend, ever the dreamer, and champion of those in need. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Gerri (the late Ken) Cholewczynski and Janice Lynn Paden; nephew, Mark Cholewczynski; niece, Jennifer (Jeff) Straub; great-nieces, Lauren, Rachel, and Meghan; and dearest friends, Janice Long and Alvina Callahan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Hayes.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9 am until the time of service at 11am on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.
