Judith Miles

Judith Ellen Miles (nee Ream),age 72, of Woodstock, IL, entered into eternal life on February 28th,peacefully, at her home in Woodstock.

Judy was the loving mother of 8 children, grandmother of 17, a true friend to all who knew her, and co-founder of Miles Data Technologies, the family business. Remembered by all who knew her for her caring, kindness, and tireless support for others, as well as her laughter and wonderful smile, Judy was active in church, school, and business organizations throughout her life. She was an example to all who knew her of selflessness, generosity, and unconditional Christian love.

Judy Miles is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 51 years, William B. Miles, and by her children Julie Ann (Charles) Riley, mother of Kaitlin, Timothy and Colleen; Mary Beth(Robert) Ladd, mother of Cara, Brian, Erin and Nora; Christine Marie (Gary)Ives, mother of Jacob, Henry and Daniel; Andrew William (Laura) Miles, father of Spencer; Kathleen Margaret (Stephen) McCarley, mother of Logan and Griffin; Jennifer Ann Miles, mother of Alex, Peter and Abigail; and Megan Patricia(Jason) Hahn, mother of Lucia. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Patricia Ream (Paul) Michel, and Norma Ream (Robert) Yamaguchi and many greatly treasured nephews, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.

Judy was preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward Miles, who died in infancy, her parents Judith and Norman Ream and her half-sister Ruth Roche.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, March 8 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake IL 60014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 9 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock IL 60098, with a second visitation held one hour before mass at church. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date.
