Judith Ann (Vander Karr) Siwkowski

Judith A. Siwkowski passed away peacefully February 11, 2022 at JourneyCare in Barrington.  She was born July 14, 1935 in Woodstock, IL to William and Evelyn Vander Karr.

Judy was a proud founding member of the St. Jude Guild at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake.  She was an active volunteer at the McHenry Hospital Gift Shop and the Little Christopher Gift Shop run by the Women’s Club at St. Thomas Church. Judy was a graduate of the University of Illinois and was a manager for Illinois Bell until moving to Crystal Lake.  She had an active interest in the lives of her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of over 54 years, Harry Siwkowski; sisters, Margaret (late Gene) Bolich, and Patricia (late Gordon) Von Bergen; nieces and nephews, Amy (Mark) Worthington, Brian (Erin) Von Bergen, Christine (Stephen) Tarnoki, Suzanne (David) Tonyan, Conrad and Lesley Vander Karr, John (Susan) Schweizer, Jill (Jim) Lubing, Janet (Bob) Rathmann, Jeffrey (Diane) Schweizer, and Lilly (Bill) Berlett; and many great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Esbon Vander Karr; and nephews, Jason Bolich, and Jim and Joe Schweizer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org; or to a charity of your choice.

Memorial visitation will be 9am until the funeral mass at 10:30am, Saturday February 26 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 15012 St. Patrick Road, Hartland, IL.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
