Julie Ann Krueger (nee Janke) of Lodi, WI (formerly of Crystal Lake, IL) died peacefully on December 31st, 2017 in Madison, WI at the age of 60.
Julie is survived by her husband, James Krueger; her son, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Krueger of Madison, WI; and her siblings, George (Mary) Janke of Batavia, IL, Susan (Dan) Carr of DeKalb, IL, and Kristal (Brent) Coffie of Williamston, SC. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Gloria Janke.
Julie was born on February 5th, 1957 in Eau Claire, WI to Vernon and Gloria Janke. She graduated from DeKalb High School in 1975 and immediately pursued a career in dental sciences. She married James Krueger in 1989. After moving to Crystal Lake, she began working for Kathleen Schroeder, DDS as a Clinic Manager. Her son remembers her as a kind, gentle, caring, patient, and loving mother who encouraged him to pursue his goals.
The visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am, Friday, January 5, 2018 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 932 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake. Pastor Larry Rubeck will officiate the ceremony. Interment to follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Julie's life.
For the Krueger family's Wisconsin friends, a celebration of life reception will take place at a later time. Details to come.
