June Rempert

June Lillian Rempert (nee Nenninger),82, of South Barrington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 13, 2012 at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Barrington.
She was born June 4, 1930 to Theodore and Nettie Nenninger in Chicago, Illinois. June was married to Harry A. Rempert on June 19, 1954. They were married for 46 years until Harry’s passing in 2001.

June was an English teacher for many years including 18 years at Barrington Middle School. She belonged to multiple organizations such as Job’s Daughters and Past Honored Queens. June was also very active in her book club. She loved cooking and spending time with family and friends, frequently shopping at Marshall Field’s and traveling.

June is survived by her children, Harry T. (Victoria Napier) Rempert, Renee Rempert (Michael Greenfield), and Gary H. (Laura Ann nee O’Brien) Rempert; sister, Doris Slone; and nephew, Paul (Angelyn) Slone.

She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Harry A. Rempert.

A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, January 26 at 3 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington, IL 60010.
