Kaidence Celina Merida

Kaidence Celina Merida, age 4, of Cary, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at her home under JourneyCare Hospice.

She was born March 5, 2015 in Hoffman Estates to Jennifer (nee Gerber) Merida and Miguel Angel Merida.

Kaidence attended Greenwood Elementary School for Early Childhood life skills and Special Friends at Willow Creek. She had a calming and peaceful spirit and was deeply loved by many people. Kaidence has changed and touched so many lives in her short 4 years.

Kaidence will be dearly missed by her parents, Jennifer and Miguel; and siblings, Ethan, Paige and Blake Ehlebracht, and Jordan and Teo Merida.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sixta Sanchez; and cousin, Madison Gerber.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. The funeral Mass will be held the following day, Thursday, December 12, at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 N First St, Cary. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
