Karen Ann Bornholt, 52, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Palatine, passed away December 20, 2014. She was born March 15, 1962 in Chicago to Alfred and Marilyn (nee Mooney) Pedersen.
Along with her parents, Karen is survived by her husband, Stephen of 27 years; children, Joshua Edward (Sylvia Proctor), Dane McKee, and Kersten Collins; grandson, Stephen Edward; brothers, Robert (Josie), Steven (Brenda), William, and David (Noreen); sister, Christine (Scott) Ocheltree; and many nieces and nephews.
Auntie Karen loved her home and family. She loved to cook, celebrate holidays, and enjoyed crafting with her nieces and nephews. She will missed by many.
Visitation will be Monday, December 22, from 4-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, at 1pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Rd, Crystal Lake.
