Katherine "Katie" Rose McEvilly

Katherine “Katie” Rose McEvilly, 50, of Geneva, IL, was born on October 9, 1971, and passed away on January 28, 2022. Katie was the beloved daughter of Myles and Patricia McEvilly; dear sister of Zachary (Maria) McEvilly and Holly (Barry) Stout; cherished aunt of Kaelyn, Piper, and Marina; and fond niece of Kathleen McEvilly, Cecilia (the late Helmuth) Webster, the late Mary Ellen (Raymond) James, and Joanne (George) Biallas.

Katie will be remembered for her smile and her laugh.

Those who knew Katie would describe her as pure joy!

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Marklund Homes for the extreme love and care they have given Katie for 43 years. Marklund became her family and the staff at Sayers Home in Geneva, Illinois have embraced her in her everyday life. Katie was surrounded by her personal family as well as the Marklund family during her hospice care at Delnor Hospital.

The family would appreciate donations to Marklund Hyde Center, 1S450 Wyatt Drive, Geneva, IL 60134.  Donations can be made in Katie’s memory at Sayers Home in lieu of any flowers.
