Kathy Ciganek (nee Silhavy), of Barrington, passed away, Thursday, May 22, 2014, in Barrington. She worked for Baxter Healthcare for many years.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Tony Ciganek; son, Adam Ciganek;brother,Jack (Heather) Silhavy; sister, Julie (Michael) Sestrick; brothers-in-law, William Ciganek and James Ciganek; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Raymond and Marianne Silhavy.
Visitation will be held from 4-9p.m.,Monday, May 26, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, IL 60010. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, May 27, at St. Anne Catholic Church,120 North Ela Street, Barrington, IL 60010,there will be a second visitation held one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be held at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
