Our family is deeply saddened by the untimely death of Glenda Kathleen Conlee (née Stemple) on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Kathy, 65, remains an important part of all of our lives, as a wife, mother, gran, sister, aunt, friend and confidant. Her love of life and the lives of others will forever inspire us all.
Kathy is survived by her husband Larry of 45 years; her two sons, Kevin and his wife Carolyn, Kyle and his wife Gabrielle; her four grandchildren Drew, Julianne, Abigail and Henry; sisters Lanita Cowden, Donna Bevers, and Virginia Wood and her husband Reverend Joe Wood; her nieces and nephews; and the rest of her family and friends.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at Barrington United Methodist Church in Barrington, Illinois. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. prior to the memorial service, and lunch will be provided following the service.
Donations may be made to Chapter KF of P.E.O. International, C/O Gretchen Collins, 575 N Grethe Court, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. The funds will continue Kathy’s efforts in support of women’s education, scholarships and grants worldwide.
