Keith E. Ellefson
March 12, 1935 — June 21, 2017
Keith Edward Ellefson, age 82, passed away on June 21, 2017 surrounded by members of his loving family. Keith was the only child, born March 12, 1935 in Thompson, IA to Mildred and Marion Ellefson.
In 1958, Keith graduated with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University. After serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, Keith worked in sales for Cummins Diesel Engine Company and Kold Ban International.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Genevieve (nee Mattison) Ellefson; daughters Elizabeth Anne (Roger) Smidt, and Susan Anne (Bryan Kurtz) Ellefson; and grandson, Samuel Alan Smidt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial visitation will be 9am until the service at 10am, Thursday, July 6th at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Inurnment will be private.
