Kenneth Johnson

Kenneth "Ken" Johnson, 72, entered into new life on Monday, January 23, 2012 in Elgin. He was born July 11, 1939 to Clifford and Lena Johnson in Chicago.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Caryl (nee Anderson); dear daughter, Gwen (Brad) Sherman; cherished grandchildren, Zachary Sherman and Olivia Sherman; sisters, Karene (Wes) Gebhardt, Pat (the late Art) Folger, and Cheryl (Jim) Parks; sister-in-law, Janyce (Ron) Koziel; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 3-9pm, Friday, January 27 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 28 at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E Algonquin Rd., South Barrington, IL 60010 with a visitation held one hour before the service at church. Burial will be held privately.
