Kerry Johnson

Kerry D. Johnson, 58, of Trout Valley, was born on May 23, 1958 to Carl and Gloria (nee Lips) Johnson in Chicago, and passed away on April 8, 2017. Kerry was the loving husband of Wendy Johnson (nee Hudson) for 31 years, and the proud father of his son, Hunter Liam Johnson. Kerry’s family meant everything to him. He was a devoted and generous son-in-law. He also enjoyed his career as a Bond Broker at the Chicago Board of Trade for more than thirty years. Kerry is survived by his wife and son, his dog; his brother, Donald S. Johnson; his aunt, Anita (Betty) Stewart; his niece, Guinevere K. Johnson; his nephew, Gunnar W. Johnson; and his cousins, Grant and Scott Stewart. The laughter and love of life he brought to his family and friends was one of a kind; he was unforgettable. Kerry will be forever missed by all who were lucky enough to have met him. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, from 4-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington.
