Kevin Maxson
October 6, 1958 — January 18, 2016
Kevin Maxson, age 57, a lifelong resident of McHenry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 18, 2016. He was born on October 6, 1958 in Lake Forest, IL to Glen and Dolores (nee Roble) Maxson.
Kevin was a family man and loving father. Kevin enjoyed all sports but especially hockey and had a heart for the Blackhawks. He was an avid hockey player for years on organized men’s leagues and pitched for many years on men’s softball leagues. He was a history buff and loved watching any movie pertaining to the wars, especially Vietnam, and aircraft.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Renee (nee Johnson); sons, Michael and Nicholas; brother, Steve Maxson; in-laws, James and Andrea Johnson, Charles and Susan Schmidt, James and Ann Johnson, and Mariusz and Laurie Michalkowski; and many neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom Maxson.
Services will be held privately.
