Kevin J. Thiermann, 62, of Island Lake, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at his home in Island Lake. He was born February 5, 1955 in Oak Park to George and Dorothy (nee Collins) Thiermann.
Kevin was an electrical designer. He enjoyed playing various sports including softball and golf; watching and supporting his Chicago area sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Dorothy; his siblings, Kathy (Paul) Cepuran, Rich (Kathy) Thiermann, and Joe (Joelle) Thiermann; nine nieces and nephews; and his fiancée, Victoria Kennedy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen (nee Gavin) Thiermann; and his father, George.
A committal service will take place at 10:30am, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd., Cary, IL 60013.
