LauraLee Kitzing

LauraLee Kitzing, of Oakwood Hills passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on June 24, 2019. She was born on December 2, 1968 in Chicago to George and Edwina (nee Danczynk) West.

LauraLee loved being around people and had a unique quality of being a friend to everyone she met. She always made every feel welcome and loved to hold hands and when she was invited anywhere, she never came empty handed. She enjoyed travelling, particularly somewhere warm with lots of sunshine. She enjoyed being on the water, whether it was swimming, boating, or being at her home on the lake. LauraLee’s biggest love was her family; especially the time she spent with her cherished granddaughters and her beloved Maltese, Maggie.

LauraLee will be deeply missed by her children, Samantha West-Feigel and Tyler Kitzing; granddaughters, Rally, Layla, Lilly; her significant other, Wayne Uskali; her parents; her siblings, John and Brenda West and Jason Chambers; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Kyleigh, Zachary and Peyton West; the father of her children, Kenneth Kitzing; and by many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Peter West.

Memorial Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2019, from 3 PM until the 7:30 PM memorial service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Interment will be private.
