LaVon L. Rehberg

LaVon L. Rehberg of Rockford passed away peacefully February 5, 2022.  She was born February 27, 1948 in Elgin to Lavern and Alice Rehberg. Growing up as a child LaVon enjoyed family vacations, visiting national parks, Disneyland, and visiting with family and friends along the way.  She also enjoyed fly fishing with her dad, playing the piano and organ; and later in life she enjoyed doing latch hook rugs, and coloring.

LaVon was a 1968 graduate of Barrington High School. She was a founding resident of Good Shepherd Manor (currently Greencastle) in Barrington. After retiring from R.A. Briggs Towel Factory in Lake Zurich she volunteered at Good Shepherd Hospital.

LaVon is survived by her sister, Reana Reher; and nephew Eric Reher.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Ronald Reher.

Visitation will be 11am until the funeral service at 12pm, Thursday February 17 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Av e (Route 176) Crystal Lake.  Burial will follow in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.  Masks are required for attendees.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in LaVon’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
