Lavonne L. (Hopkins) Snider

Lavonne Hopkins Snider passed away November 26,2018 in Barrington,Illinois.  She was the daughter of Dewey and Gladys Hopkins and was born on July 4, 1925 in Oakdale,Nebraska.  Lavonne had many friends in high school and loved the arts. She was their Homecoming Queen.

Lavonne married Wayne W. Snider on August 17, 1946 and was the loving mother to 5; Roger(Linda) Snider, Kathy(Phil)Nelsen, Scott(Ceryl) Snider, Kimberly(Rex) Entsminger, and Karen(late Jeff) Stoffel. Lavonne was the proud grandmother of 12 and great grandmother to 9; and is also survived by her brother Kenneth(Su) Hopkins of Lincoln, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years.
