Lawrence C. Knizner

Larry Knizner, of Kildeer, at rest March 19th, 2023 at the age of 93. He was born on November 4th, 1929 in Chicago and was a proud south side Chicagoan for the majority of his life. Larry was the son of the late Michael and Anna (nee Andrassy) Knizner. Larry was a combat veteran of the United States Army, serving proudly during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his devoted wife of 66 years, Maryann (nee Lagut). He is survived by his loving daughter, Deborah (Jeffrey) Wright, grandsons, Bret (Isabelle) and Bart; great-grandsons, Ryland and Austin. Devoted uncle to seven nieces and nephews and countless cousins and cherished by friends and neighbors, especially John Gaydusek and Judy and Ken Robertson.

Larry will be remembered for his huge heart and the ability to always see the best in those around him. His loving nature and unfailing sense of humor made him a joy to spend time with. Internment will be private.
