Leona Agnes Gaspar, 70 of Barrington Hills
Born October 22, 1942 in Chicago to Leonard and Caroline Bloniarz, passed away peacefully April 3, 2013 in Winfield.
Leona volunteered at Catchpenny in Barrington for over 20 years.
Leona is survived by her children Ricky (Julie) Braet, Melissa (Ken) Woltz Jr., and Maurice Braet, grandchildren; Kenny III, Kiki, and Carter Woltz, Natalie and Tye Braet, Jeremiah DeBaker, and Joshua and Jesse Owen, sister Kathleen (Alphonse) Serpico, and brother John (Patricia) Bloniarz. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, George (2011), and her parents.
Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am Thursday, April 11 at St. Anne Catholic Church 120 Ela St., Barrington. Burial in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Catch Penny, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Auxiliary, 118 E. Main St, Barrington IL 60010, in Leona’s name appreciated.
