Leonard Siewierski

Leonard S. Siewierski passed away August 13, 2022 in Elgin.  He was born July 24, 1940 in Chicago to Mitchell and Martha Siewierski.

Len was an avid boater and enjoyed collecting and running model trains.  He loved walking his dog, Kingsley; gardening, baking, and spending time with his family and friends.  Len’s Christmas cookies were a favorite of all his family and friends.

Len is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth; son, Phillip (Katy) Siewierski; grandson, Matthew Siewierski; brother, Mitchell (Hedy) Siewierski; sister, Dolores Nelson; brother-in-law, Tom (Laura) Martin; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Mike) Flory, and Janice Martin; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Siewierski Woodman; and his parents.

Visitation will 10am until the memorial service at 11am, Friday, August 19 at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
