LeRoy R. Corbett, 75, of Crystal Lake and formerly of Rolling Meadows, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012.
He was born October 25, 1936 in Chicago to the late Roy and Mary (nee Maple) Corbett and married the late Carol A. Stephens on February 4, 1955. She passed away in 2011.
LeRoy enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed playing pinochle and years ago was a Boy Scout leader.
LeRoy loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he will be dearly missed by his children, Debra Corbett, Lee Corbett, Robert (Sandra) Corbett, Kelly Corbett, and David (Laura) Corbett; his 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Bill Sunter.
The visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Thursday, May 10 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 11 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
