LeRoy H. Harms, the son of Emil and Frieda Harms, born August 1, 1926, in Evanston, passed away September 6, 2015 in Barrington at the age of 89.
“Bud” as he was fondly known was a prominent nursery owner and avid golfer. He will now enjoy the opportunity to “take the rest of the day off”.
Loving husband to his wife of 65 years, LaVerne Harms; devoted father of sons, David Harms and Dennis Harms; father-in-law to Georgianne Harms; and loving grandpa of Derek Harms.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W Main St., Barrington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the JourneyCare Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010.
