Les Willard, 56, of Algonquin passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on May 27, 2017. He was born August 30, 1960 in Chicago to Leslie Sr. and Madeline (nee Gattuso) Willard.
Les was an electrician and a member of I.B.E.W. Local 134. He was an avid fisherman, gardener and handyman. He loved his Chicago Sports; Go Cubs and Go Blackhawks! His welcoming and fun demeanor made him an all-around good guy and friend to all.
Les will be deeply missed by his loving daughters, Lauren and Jordon Willard; his sister Lisa (Frank) Capaci; his mother Madeline “Lee” Erwin; nieces and nephews, Mario, Angelina and Niko Capaci; great-nieces, Gyana and Mia; his four-legged feline friend, Mowgli; and by many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, from 4 PM until 9 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Visitation will resume on Thursday, June 1, from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Palatine.
