Lillian Ankele

The funeral service for Lillian D. Ankele (nee Foreman),95, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 26, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, where there will be visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.Born November 25,1917, in Waukegan to the late James and Anna (nee Schumacher) Foreman, she died Monday, January 21,2013, at her home. Survivors include her sons, Dale (Lynn) Ankele of Crystal Lake and Don (Paula) Ankele of Cary; grandchildren Ian (Denae) Ankele, Cameron (Nikki) Ankele, Lindsey (Chris) Marzano, Christopher and Lauren Ankele; great-grandchildren, Caden, Finn, and Graham Ankele, and Miles Marzano; siblings, Betty Myk of Barrington, James (Carol) Foreman of Woodstock, and Harold (Bev) Foreman of Pell Lake, WI. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ankele was preceded in death by her husband Edward in 1994; and sisters, Frances Foreman, Louise Schriber, and Shirley Werner. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mrs. Ankele’s name may be made to the Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010.
