Lillian Maidak

Lillian Josephine Maidak died Friday, January 24, 2014 peacefully at home in her sleep with her family at her bedside.
Chicago born and raised, March 7, 1931, she married Alvin Walter Maidak, retired Army veteran, January 25, 1955. She became a teacher of elementary school and later a Kmart jewelry manager after moving to Crystal Lake.
She had four children: Jennie Marie (Doug) Freund, Marko William (La Verne) Maidak, Bud Marvin (Marie) Maidak, and Matthew Andrew Maidak.
Other surviving descendants include her grandchildren, Alexander Jefferson (Sarah O’Hern) Maidak, Kenneth Walter (Kelly) Freund, Lisa Marie Freund, Max Marco Maidak, Shanna Marie Lenth; and great-grandchildren, Brandi Lee Jones, Charlotte Paige Maidak, Claire Ellen Maidak, Madelyn Haley Maidak, and Jasmine Marie Lenth.
