Linda Webb

Born December 28, 1944 in Chicago to Harry and Toby (nee Sachs) Wasserman, passed away peacefully in Barrington August 16, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was a teacher, student, and mentor and had a knack for developing lasting relationships with those she came in contact with while pursuing her widely varied interests. In addition to being a gourmet cook her favorite hobbies included stained glass, and more recently sewing and quilting. She took an active role in her daughters' education and activities. Linda loved her flower garden and each spring it came to life. When grandchildren arrived she enjoyed being with them and traveling with her husband.

Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert D. Webb; children, Lauren (David Elbaz) Webb Elbaz, and Robyn S. (Phillip) Kavan; grandchildren, Mason and Micah Elbaz, and Morgan, Josie, Jason, and Michael Kavan; and brother Richard (Fay) Wasserman. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, September 10 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington. The family will visit with guests from 9:30am until the time of the service. Burial will be held privately.
