Lisa M. (Mapa) Brown

Lisa M. Brown, 53, of Crystal Lake passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2021. She was born in Pasay City, Philippines on April 13, 1968.

At the age of 2, Lisa moved to the United States and was raised by her Grandmother, Anania de la Cruz Nabong “Ina” in Crystal Lake. Lisa married Steven Brown on May 20, 1995 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and raised two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Rachel.

For the past three years, she loved her job as an administrative assistant for Lucas Law in Barrington. Prior to going back to work, her pride and joy was being a stay-at-home mom. Lisa loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Steven and girls, Lauren and Rachel along with her fuzzy, four-legged friend, Henry. She is further survived by her mother, Evelyn N. Nabong and a brother, Allen Dann Nabong Mapa.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anania de la Cruz Nabong.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, from 4 until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta., Crystal Lake. Mass will be Tuesday, June 29, at 10:00am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
