Lois L. Gaskill, 98, a former long time resident of Barrington and member of St. Anne Catholic Church passed away Monday, May 24, in Oxford, FL.
A small service will take place at Davenport Funeral Home in Barrington on Friday, June 4th, at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
She was born in Chicago, IL on March 5, 1923. She is survived by her children, Judy (Rick) Mason, Richard, M.D., Kathy (Marty) Polito, and Mark (Dei); her sister, Betty Atkins; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandsons.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul B. Gaskill, M.D.; her parents, Frank and Agnes Spanknebell of Barrington; two siblings, Jack and Kay; one grandson, Paul Gaskill and one great grandson, Parker Walsh.
Although she had numerous interests such as golf, tennis and bowling, bridge was her number one passion.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to Cornerstone Hospice @ www.cornerstonehospice.org or any hospice or charity of your choice.
