Lois Meseroll

Lois Meseroll passed away peacefully on February 26, 2021 in Lake Zurich. She was born in New York City on March 15, 1928 to David W. and Annetta Jack.

Lois was a graduate of New Jersey College for Women and a lifelong learner. She was an avid reader, crossword solver, incredible and creative quilter, singer and pianist, a great cook, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her life was blessed with the love of her life, Stan, with whom she had many incredible adventures and travels, living in three different states and meeting so many wonderful people! Lois’ work life began at Bell Laboratories’ Patent Office in 1949. She also was a teacher’s aide, substitute teacher, librarian, bank teller and a volunteer for a hospital, hospice, libraries; President of a Women’s Club and Board Member of the Chickasaw (SC) Property Owners Board of Directors. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Ken Meseroll, and Judy (Larry) Scalzitti; grandchildren, Patrick (Heather) Scalzitti, Thomas (Katie) Scalzitti; great-granddaughter, Abigail; and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Stan, in 2012.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to a local hospice are requested.
