Loretta J. Jelen (nee Chasen) was born September 17, 1926 in Chicago to John and Mary Chasen and passed away peacefully Saturday, November 17 in Woodstock.
Loretta is survived by her children,Thomas (Louise) Jelen, Jerome (Beverly) Jelen, and Carol (Scott) Beers; grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, and Jackie; and brother Walter Chasen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, sister Violet Handzel, and her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, November 23 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake with visitation beginning at 9am until the time of the mass. Interment will be private.
