Lori Sobczak

Lori Lynn Sobczak (nee Hendershott),46, of Hoffman Estates passed away March 6, in Barrington. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington, IL. A visitation will also take place at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Rd., Inverness, IL 60067 on Friday, March 9, starting at 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.Lori was born on Sept. 21, 1965 to James and Karna (nee Peterson) Hendershott. She was raised in Champaign and graduated from Champaign Centennial High School. She met Bob Sobzak while attending college in Chicago and later they married and made their home in Hoffman Estates. Bob and Lori were blessed with two sons who were the light of her life, Robert, Jr. and Matthew. Lori kept busy supporting Matthew in hockey and Robert in volunteer work.Lori is survived by her husband Bob Sobczak of Hoffman Estates; her two sons, Robert, Jr. and Matthew; her mother Karna Hendershott of Champaign; her sister Shelley Siuts of Champaign; her nephew Tucker of Afghanistan and her neice Shannon of Champaign. Lori is also survived her in-laws, the Sobczak family.She proceeded in death by her father, James Hendershott.Memorials in Lori's name may be made by calling the American Cancer Society at 800-227-2345.Visitation,Thursday, March 8, 4-8pm,Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W.
