Lorraine Vito

Lorraine Vito (nee Anderson) 89, of the Village of Lakewood, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Chicago.

She was born September 18, 1925 to Torin & Albina (nee Czosek) Anderson in Chicago. On July 7, 1945, Lorraine married Frank Vito in Chicago. She was proud to be a wonderful mother to three sons, and a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lorraine made the art of cooking and baking her specialties, something her whole family treasured and looked forward to! Most importantly, she was known for the extreme love and dedication to her family.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Dennis (Karen) Vito; daughter-in-law, Kelly Vito; brother, Roger Anderson; granddaughters, Valerie (Trey) Breeden, Victoria, Angela, and Abbey Vito; grandsons, Anthony (Elizabeth), Michael, and Christopher Vito; and great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Madeleine Breeden, and Ava Vito.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Donald Vito and Frank Vito Jr., and her brother Kenneth “Bud” Anderson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, from 2p.m. until the time of service at 6p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
