Louis R. Bending

Louis R. Bending, 44, of Rockford and formerly of Oakwood Hills, was born on March 22, 1975 to Edward and the late Charlotte Bending, and passed away suddenly on August 24, 2019. Louis was the husband of Shannon (nee Webb); cherished father of Nadia; beloved son of Edward (Mary Quinlivan) Bending; dear brother of Edward C. (Laura), Gregory (Melissa), Mark (Terri) and Julie; uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Louis will be remembered for his friendliness, love for animals and his dedication to being Nadia’s father. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, from 3:00pm until the time of his service at 7:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to his family for Nadia’s Educational Fund.
