Louise Gertrude Fransen (nee Schmitz), of Lake Barrington, IL was born on April 18, 1922 in Evanston, IL to the late Martin and Anna Schmitz and passed away peacefully on October 21, 2017 in Barrington, IL. Louise was the loving wife of the late James G. Fransen for over 40 years; beloved mother of Linda (Robert) Scott and James (Regina) Fransen; cherished grandmother of Kimberly (Matthew) Berberich, Andrew (Michelle) Scott, Adam (Lisa) Scott, J. Clinton (Cassandra) Fransen, Erik (Kristin) Fransen, Kristofer (Emily) Fransen and Abigail (Matthew) Jones; dear great-grandmother of Jackson, Benjamin, Owen, Hailey, Annabelle, Beau, Jules, Everet and Charlotte. Visitation for Louise will be held on Tuesday, October 24, from 5:00-8:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL. On Wednesday, October 25, visitation will continue from 9:00am until the time of her Mass at 10:00am at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela St. (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.), Barrington, IL. Interment will be held privately at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.
